A few weeks ago I spent an amazing weekend at Grand Resort Lagonissi in Attica. It is a five-star hotel with its own beach in the area of Lagonissi, in the so called Attica Riviera. The hotel is about 45 minutes from the center of Athens.
As soon as we arrived at the hotel, we headed towards the parking because cars are not allowed in the hotel premises except at the reception area for check-in and check-out. A small special car picked me up from the reception with my stuff and took me to a beautiful bungalow just above the sandy beach of the hotel.
Being inside the bungalow, on the left there was a large spacious bathroom with a jacuzzi, a large bathtub and a large double wash basin, and while there was a spacious room with an amazing double bed, a small lounge and a large glass window leading to a beautiful balcony overlooking the unique sea. From that balcony, I enjoyed one of the finest sunsets I have seen so far and I will really have forever in my mind this unforgettable memory.
The decor of the bungalow was very beautiful, the furniture carefully selected and the colors beautiful and relaxing.
The hotel services were very good. The staff were courteous and always willing to serve us. I felt very comfortable from the very first moment.
Their breakfast was rich, of very good quality and really very tasty. I also tasted the restaurant’s food and I was impressed by the dishes they brought me. Their recipes are based on Greek cuisine, all cooked with Greek local products, while the dishes were also excellent.
I also enjoyed my coffee at the hotel bar, listening to beautiful relaxing music, and for the next morning I made a beautiful long walk to the beach and relaxed enjoying the beautiful views and the Athenian sunshine.
It was really a wonderful weekend that I dedicated to relaxing and resting and leaving me the best memories. If you are in Attica and you have few days to devote yourself to it, I highly recommend the Grand Resort Lagonissi for your holidays.
